Introduction

Before I write these words to introduce us, I just saw a short video from TED called "The Uncomfortable Truth of Life." It starts like this: If I worked at Starbucks, instead of writing people's names on their coffee cups, I'd write the following: one day, you and everyone you know will die. And beyond the small group of people, for an extremely brief period of time, little you say or do will ever matter. This is the uncomfortable truth of life.


Yes, life is short. Not only that, it seems to be full of contradictions. For example, if you are working, you will feel your life is occupied by others, and you are not living your own life. If you are not working, you will feel time flowing with emptiness and end up with a sense of vanity. You want to achieve something; you want to be happy, but it seems all those efforts are ultimately tied to either fame or money. You set these as targets and frame your activities to accomplish them, but in the end, none of them will truly satisfy you.


The truth is, you will finally realize that even if you invent purposes and meanings for every movement, they can fool anyone but yourself.


What makes you truly happy can only be identified by yourself.


To identify this, you must take yourself out of the frames, routines, duties, responsibilities, and expectations. Treat yourself as you originally are, a speck of cosmic dust.


Yes, that is what we are trying to do.


It is cliché to introduce ourselves by saying when our company and factories were founded, how many steps we have taken to arrive, how many workers and personnel we have, our production capacity, and our achievements.


At its simplest, what we want to offer here are not only the products we are producing but also to share the way of living we have found. We aim to bring more convenience and happiness to your and our lives, jump out of our boxes and frames, and find the way we want to be, or used to be, as a speck of cosmic dust. In doing so, we can enjoy our short but precious life in the moment by sensing the deepest voice in our hearts.


Jump out of the box, jump into real life.


That is who we are.
